1. What we collect

• Newsletter email. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you subscribed, and which part of the site you signed up from (e.g. footer, homepage, or a pop-up) — used only to understand which sign-up points work, never to identify or profile you. No name, no IP address, no other tracking.
• Anonymous analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. It reports aggregate, non-identifying metrics (page views, referrers) only.
• Ask The AI Supply Chain (chat assistant). Questions you type into the chat assistant are matched against our sourced data, and today the reply is composed directly from that data — no external AI model is called. We have code in place to optionally route the query to an AI provider (OpenAI, or DeepSeek) to draft a more natural-language response; this path is not currently activatedand would only be turned on with a deliberate configuration change, which we would reflect here. Separately, our editorial curation pipeline (which selects and drafts the content you read on the site, not the chat assistant) uses OpenRouter as its active AI provider. We do not store your chat questions, and no account or identity is attached to them.

2. Why we collect it

Your email is used for a single purpose: to send you The AI Supply Chain weekly digest. The legal basis is your explicit consent, given via the checkbox at sign-up. We never sell, rent or share your email with third parties.

3. How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in every email, or by emailing support@theaisupplychain.ai.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA (or a comparable jurisdiction), you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, and to withdraw consent at any time.

To unsubscribe immediately, use the one-click link included in every newsletter email — this removes your address right away. For any other request about your data, email support@theaisupplychain.ai.

5. Third-party links

The AI Supply Chain relays third-party information and links out to original sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites — please review their policies when you follow a link.

6. Changes

We may update this page as the service evolves (for example, when we move the newsletter to a dedicated email provider at launch). The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
